Boxim-500 Injection Ip
Amikacin Sulphate Injection IP is indicated for treatment of intra-abdominal & joint infections, sepsis, pneumonia, and meningitis. It is antibacterial formulation which is given as an injection into vein or muscles. This medicinal compound works by binding to the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosome and prevents protein synthesis. It remains mostly unmetabolized and shows elimination half life of about 2 to 3 hours. Amikacin Sulphate Injection IP shows good effectiveness against multidrug-resistant and aerobic gram-negative bacteria.
